Genesians Fall Production: Little Shop of Horrors
The Archbishop Rummel Genesian Players opened its 58th theatrical season with the popular musical “Little Shop of Horrors,” with stage and music direction by Director of Theatre Mr. Brandt Blocker, ’90, and choreography by Ms. Karen Hebert. The show featured students from Archbishop Rummel, Mount Carmel Academy, Archbishop Chapelle, St. Mary’s Dominican, and the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts; as well as alumnus Mr. Marc Fouchi, ’94. This production was one of the most successful in the history of the Players, and was a tribute to Genesian Founder Mr. Chuck Guajardo who had directed the show in 1989 and 1996. The production played 8 sold-out performances from November 11 – 21, 2021.
