Genesians Hold Officer Inductions and First General Meeting

The Archbishop Rummel Genesian Players held their Executive Officer Induction and General Meeting for the 2023-24 academic year on Wednesday, August 16.

Director of Theatre Mr. Brandt Blocker ‘90 introduced Genesian Lasallian Formation Leader Brother Gale Condit, FSC and the newly elected executive officers: President Bryson Borne ‘24, Executive Vice President Morgan Gaudeat (Archbishop Chapelle), Vice President Jack Cross ‘26, Major School Representative Mckayla Schmitt (Archbishop Chapelle), and Minor School Representative Leah Gilmore (St. Mary’s Dominican). Each officer pledged their leadership and support to the Players and received the Genesian Players’ crest pin blessed by Rummel Chaplain Fr. Andrew Gutierrez.

President Bryson Borne led the Lasallian March to hang a tapestry of St. John Baptist De La Salle in the Genesian Theatre. The tapestry is from the Christian Brothers’ Generalate In Rome.

Following student introductions, the Genesians were updated on membership affairs and upcoming events by Mr. Blocker, and greeted by the artistic and technical staffs.
