National Honors Society 

1.  You must maintain a 3.5 cumulative GPA.  If your GPA drops below a 3.5, you will be placed on probation for one semester.  If your GPA is not raised back to a 3.5 after the probationary semester, you will be dismissed from the NHS.

 2.  You must be actively involved in two major organizations from Group A, or one from Group A and two from Group B, or three from Group B.  The group categories are listed on the enclosed form.  Using this form, please have each moderator sign as proof of your active participation in the club.  Activity Forms must be completed and returned with applications by April 15.  Confirmed participation in civic- or church-related organizations will be considered for meeting requirements.  If approved, such membership may be substituted for one Group B activity.      

3.  You must make a commitment to tutor fellow students with academic needs.  Tutoring will take place before school, lunch, and/or after school.


4. You must complete your required service hours and have no HIP violations.


National Junior Honors Society
