"Pretzel Lab"
Raiders in Mr. Primes' physics class joined forces with Ms. Wetzel's physical science students to conduct their first "Pretzel Lab," (Primes+Wetzel=Pretzel).
The lab focused on velocity, with juniors and seniors teaching 8th graders how to use the lab equipment when conducting experiments to measure velocity. Students had to place a metal ball on a ramp so that when the ball rolled off the table, it landed in a target on the ground. This involved making calculations and adjusting the ramp until they obtained a velocity that allowed the ball to land in the target.
