Psychology Class Studies Infant Development
Mrs. Matherne's Psychology class is working on a project to learn more about prenatal and child development. As part of the project, students created "sock babies" that they carried around daily, to all of their classes. Students heard from a guest speaker Rummel faculty member, Dr. Brian Credo '77, a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
For their culminating assignment, students will create a book that includes the physical, cognitive, social, and motor development of babies and write an essay discussing what they learned about prenatal and child development.
