ISTF and Science Bits Recognizes Excellence in Science Teaching
On behalf of Science Bits and the International Science Teaching Foundation, Mr. Pol Banti presented an award to recognize Archbishop Rummel and two of its science teachers, Mrs. Charlene Wetzel and Mr. Joe Chango. The award certified and recognized the school for excellence in science teaching and for the application of teaching methodologies grounded in educational research.
Archbishop Rummel High School is the first school in Louisiana to receive this award. Because Mr. Banti could not be present to deliver the award in-person, Mr. Marc Milano and Mr. Matthew Caire presented the award on his behalf. Additionally, Mr. Banti thanked and surprised Mrs. Wetzel and Mr. Chango with SmartNGSS lab coats. See Mr. Banti's award presentation via video below: |
