Sudden Impact Mock Crash

At the Sudden Impact Mock Crash students witnessed the re-enactment of the emergency responses and resources necessary to handle a preventable crash. Student role players and parents demonstrated the consequences associated with poor decisions behind the wheel of a vehicle, which would result in the horrific duty of death notification to a father waiting for his son to return from a house party.

Thank you to Sudden Impact Louisiana, Louisiana Highway Safety Commission, Louisiana State Police, East Jefferson General Hospital, Jefferson Parish Coroner's Office, Jefferson Parish Fire Department, and University Medical Center New Orleans who participated in the successful event.
