Experience what being a Rummel Raider is all about! Campers will be engaged in activities that teach them the values and traditions of Rummel High School. Through games and friendly competitions, campers will be instilled with the Lassalian principles and will be bursting with school spirit. Campers will show their creative sides by making mementos as a reminder of their Raider Pride. Your son will leave campus feeling like a Raider! Board Games/Tabletop Games This is a specialized program that offers participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in a variety of tabletop games. This camp provides a structured schedule of gameplay, instruction, and activities centered around board games, ping pong, and foosball. Throughout the camp, individuals can improve critical thinking, strategy, communication, and social skills while having fun and building friendships through the shared love of games. Water Fun Water camp offers a refreshing and fun-filled experience for participants to cool off and enjoy water-based activities. Campers can splash around in various water features, providing a safe and interactive way to beat the heat. With games and water-themed challenges, campers can engage in playful water activities that promote physical activity and social interaction. The emphasis on water safety and supervision ensures a secure environment for campers of all ages to have a splashing good time while staying cool and active in the summer sun. Cooking Camp Campers will enjoy the opportunity to learn valuable cooking skills through hands-on experience in a fun and interactive environment. This will allow kids to get creative in the kitchen and build confidence in their abilities. Campers will be creating treats without the use of stoves or ovens. Working together with other campers on cooking projects will foster socialization and teamwork skills. Baseball/Wiffle Ball Campers receive instruction and training in various aspects of the sport of baseball. Campers typically learn skills such as hitting, fielding, and base running through drills, and practice games. The camp aims to improve players' techniques and knowledge of the game and develop their skills and passion for baseball. (Students must bring their own gloves.) Basketball This camp will focus on developing campers basketball skills and knowledge. Through a combination of drills and scrimmages campers learn techniques such as shooting, dribbling, passing, and defense. The camp aims to improve players' overall basketball abilities while also emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for the game. Football (Flag Football) This program is designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of individuals, in the sport of football. Through a combination of drill and scrimmages campers will learn techniques such as throwing, catching, and defensive strategies. It provides a structured and competitive environment for individuals to develop their football skills, build camaraderie with teammates, and deepen their passion for the sport. Soccer This is a structured program that aims to educate and train individuals in the skills and tactics of soccer. Participants engage in a variety of activities such as drills, scrimmages, and skill-based games to improve techniques like passing, shooting, dribbling, and defending. The camp provides a platform for players to enhance their physical abilities, soccer knowledge, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Track/Cross Country This is a program for runners, to enhance endurance, speed, and technique in running. Participants engage in a variety of activities such as interval training, strength training, and team-building exercises. The camp focuses on developing athletes' physical fitness, mental toughness, race strategy, and overall performance in races. Wall Ball Participants will engage in various drills, skills practice, and games to improve their hand-eye coordination, agility, and reflexes. This camp will offer a fun and competitive environment for individuals to enhance their wall ball techniques and enjoy the game with others. Dodgeball and Kickball Experience the thrill of dodgeball and kickball at our exciting summer camp. In dodgeball campers will learn how to throw, catch, and dodge with precision, while also working on their agility and coordination. In kickball campers will practice their kicks and catches, and then put their skills to the test in friendly games against their fellow campers. Campers will thrive in a positive and inclusive environment where campers can feel comfortable and have fun while improving their athletic abilities.
